Dieting sucks

Today is definitely going to be a test of my diet willpower. I usually prefer to stay in on the weekends when I’m doing the no-carbs thing, because obviously it’s a lot easier to stick to a diet when you’re not around food, drinks, and any other kind of temptation. But yesterday my friend told me about an Oyster Festival in downtown Manhattan.

I love oysters. And the weather today in NY is gorgeous. It’s supposed to hit 80. It would be a damn shame if I were to waste what is probably one of the last warm Saturdays of 2012 sitting inside my basement apartment. So I’m going to Oyster Fest.

Oysters aren’t that bad for a diet, but the beers that will go along with it? Not good. Hopefully I don’t stray too bad.

Oysters sound pretty good right now.

  2. you just have to live and enjoy without guilt… you must always treat yourself or the diet becomes the negativity in your life when it is suppose to be a good thing!
